What do Anchovy and Lincoln Literacy have in common?

A love for food and sharing recipes!  

To do just that, as well as support a good cause, Anchovy is excited to announce our first digital cookbook fundraiser to support Lincoln Literacy’s mission. Lincoln Literacy, a nonprofit in Lincoln, Nebraska, strengthens the Lincoln community by teaching the English language and a variety of literacy skills to people of all cultures. Anchovy is a mobile app where you can save and share your favorite recipes.

Anchovy and Lincoln Literacy have combined forces to bring you a digital cookbook featuring recipes from all over the world, created by Lincoln Literacy students, teachers and volunteers. The cookbook is available for purchase in the Anchovy app, with proceeds going to Lincoln Literacy. 

As a startup app that is rooted in community, Anchovy is honored to offer the first digital cookbook fundraiser to support the educational programs offered by Lincoln Literacy. Anchovy’s founder, Diane Stinton, is excited about the opportunity and recognizes the digital fundraiser as an easy and fun way for Lincoln Literacy to engage the public and celebrate the people they serve. 

All you need to do to get the delicious recipes and support Lincoln Literacy is download the free Anchovy app on your smartphone, set up your account, navigate to the Market icon and click on the Lincoln Literacy cookbook. The cookbook, entitled “A World of Flavor” represents the people and families Lincoln Literacy serves, through their original recipes. It is a great opportunity to add unique experiences to your meals while supporting the work that Lincoln Literacy offers to lift all members of our community. 

Bryan Seck, CEO of Lincoln Literacy, stated that they are thrilled to partner with Anchovy to share staff recipes from all over the world including Venezuela, Iraq, Vietnam, Mexico, and more.
